PIM Industries (7 million euros in turnover, 83 people) based in Marckolsheim in the Alsace region is specialized in screen printing. Electronic parts but also plastic and metal parts for the manufacture of upscale POS equipments or of labels and dressings for high-end perfume and spirits containers are among the many solutions that PIM Industries can offer. Furthermore, in recent weeks a new simple and original concept of POS support lit by LEDs has been developed by the company’s R&D department.
Magnify bottles and vials
"This type of lighting solutions has a definite impact on the product’s attractiveness and value added, explains Gilles Fachin, Marketing / Innovation manager. The lighting can be of any colour and of a variable intensity which enables a full range of effects to magnify bottles and vials. In the periphery to enhance the product or behind as an eye catcher, the self adhesive lighting circuits fit in perfectly into the boxes and POS thanks to their extreme slimness (less than 1 mm). These systems offer endless possibilities in terms of aesthetics to achieve glittering and sparkling products."
Another important advantage, these elements are very easy to integrate in existing or custom developed media, and the power consumption is very low.
