OEKAbeauty successfully manufactured the recently launched L’Oréal Paris mascara “False Lash Flutter”.
Its striking design makes it an eye-catcher at the Point of Sale. But the complex bottle geometry made the realization of the design concept a real challenge.
To realize this extraordinary design OEKAbeauty invested in two new pad printing machines, which are expandable up to four camera-controlled print stations. The complex combination of graphic on three different positions is pad printed in-line. This double stroke system works with 45 parts per minute to accomplish the seven different language versions of the unique mascara.
To add value to the overall prestigious appearance the bottle and the outer cap are metalized to achieve a perfect silver finish.
But it is not only the appearance of the outer parts that makes this mascara remarkable. It is also the unique brush manufactured by SIMP which perfectly complements the package. It has required several years of development and is an exceptional achievement in injection-moulding technology. Furthermore it is protected with a few patents owned by SIMP.
