Northwest Cosmetic Laboratories (NCL), a formulator and manufacturer of professional skin care and prestige colour cosmetic products for beauty brands headquartered in Idaho Falls, ID, has acquired Dream Team Beaute of Sun Valley, CA, a formulator and manufacturer of colour cosmetic products.
“We have been seeking an acquisition that would complement our brand and bring in a new element of innovation,” said Matt Byant, NCL’s CEO.
This transaction, which closed on May 11, 2017, should allow NCL to increase its existing colour capabilities while adding new offerings in pressed and loose powders. Dream Team co-founders Kimberly Clark and Esme Mancia will continue to lead the Dream Team division. Furthermore, Dream Team’s location in California will help NCL to provide additional development services for their existing West Coast customers.
“This combination with NCL will help Dream Team continue to grow its reach beyond colour,” commented Kimberly Clark. “Our capabilities complement each other very well, and we can leverage NCL’s organization and infrastructure to bring more resources to serve our customers” added Esme Mancia.
