Four months after the fifth edition of MakeUp in Paris closed its doors, the organisers are drawing conclusions from the analysis of entries coupled with the result of a survey conducted by the organisers a few days ago among some 2,800 visitors.

First conclusion: a high level of satisfaction: more than 90%! “For the respondents, ‘trends’, ‘innovation’ and ‘creativity’ are the words that best characterize this event, in that order. The vast majority of them spent an entire day at the show. And, against all odds, quite a few them would like an additional day,” highlights Beauteam, the company organising the MakeUp in events.

Nearly half of all visitors said they attended the conferences. As to the question: "what are you looking for at MakeUp in Paris?", the answer were: "to discover new products", followed by " to get the latest news on make-up", not forgetting "to meet new exhibitors."

Furthermore, for the vast majority of visitors, the internet is clearly the main vehicle for inciting people to visit the event and for informing them.

The increasing notoriety of MakeUp in Paris helps the show to attract more and more foreign visitors (30% of all visitors in 2014).

A promising 2015 edition

There are eight months to go before the next edition, which will be held at the Carrousel du Louvre on 18 and 19 June 2015, and the organisers announce the maximum number of stands has almost been reached. “Nearly all those exhibiting at the previous edition have already signed up again, and many have decided to increase their surface area.

Also worth noting is the success of MakeUp Pigments, the workshop/exhibition dedicated to ingredients, which is growing due to the presence of some new companies.
