Growing from 65 to 85 exhibitors, the fourth edition of MakeUp in Paris (20 and 21 June next, at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris) is taking a great step in terms of representativeness of this global industrial sector dedicated to make-up.

MakeUp in Paris has established itself as of this fourth year as the unavoidable appointment of make-up excellence in Europe and in the world. Soufflot, Delorme and Gabriel, the three rooms of the Carrousel du Louvre totalling 3,275 sqm (35,250 sq ft) will host stands, animation areas, the conference room and the catering area of the event,” claim the organisers.

Among the last companies to have signed in, to note the presence of Bell, Bottlemate Taiwan and Digital Packaging.

Other first time exhibitors to date are: AC Cosmétiques, Baosheng Corporation, Baralan, Barbara Hofmann, Bottlemate Taiwan, Cho Chuang Industrial, Chromavis, Confalonieri Matite, Cosmecca Korea, Federico Ferrer, HCP Packaging, Leoplast, Shanghai Delviel Cosmetic, Toly France, Yoshida, Zignago Vetro.

New "Ingredients" area!

For the first time this year MakeUp in Paris will open an area dedicated to the ingredient sector. Several partners have already indicated their high level of interest in this new pole to increase their visibility on this make-up segment, among which BASF and Merck, who intend to seize this opportunity to enrich their contacts with all the formulation and full service manufacturers.

For the first time also several make-up schools and their models will take part twice a day to a parade in the aisles of the show among the visitors, combining "Fashion and Make-up", by staging exhibitors’ products.

Finally, among the conference themes, "Luxury and Make-up", "Make-up and Skincare", "Ephemeral and eternal make-up", "Make-up in Selective Distribution in Mass Distribution and in privately own stores: What strategy?", "Nail polish: The multiple facets of a changing market"....
