Graff Diamonds is making a move on the fragrance industry. The luxury London-based jeweller has entered into a worldwide license agreement with Inter Parfums, Inc., with a view to launching a collection of scents in 2019.

"With this agreement, Graff, has become one of the most exclusive and aspirational brands in our fragrance portfolio," said Jean Madar, Chairman & CEO of Inter Parfums, Inc., in a statement. "Just as Graff has been dedicated to sourcing and crafting gemstones of extraordinary beauty to create the most exquisite, fabulous jewels ever produced, we will explore the world’s natural beauty for the most sublime and rarefied ingredients to offer the Graff customer and brand aspirants, a unique fragrance experience."

The fragrance collection is likely to be made available in Graff stores, high-end department stores, and upscale travel retail locations.

Since being founded by Laurence Graff OBE in 1960, Graff has carved out a reputation as a global leader in the sourcing and crafting of rare diamonds and gemstones, known for its exquisite jewellery pieces, which are designed and manufactured in its London atelier. Last year the jeweller claimed to have purchased the world’s largest uncut diamond, a 1,109-carat gem, for $53 million.
