Four months before the sixth edition of MakeUp in Paris (June 18 & 19, 2015 at the Carrousel du Louvre), the organisers said the event is already sold out.

"The quota that we had set ourselves, Jean-Yves Bourgeois and myself, was reached in record times," explains Sandra Maguarian, Show Manager. “During two days, visitors will be given access to the very best in terms of suppliers dedicated to the make-up industry, from ingredients to formulations specialists, full-service companies, packaging and accessories manufacturers."

Ingredients, formulas, packaging

The organisers also highlight how much their concept is consistent with the evolution of the sector. “Even the biggest brands are more and more opting for full service,” says Jean-Yves Bourgeois. The main explication is the need to innovate and to launch in no time and under the best conditions of efficiency and quality. Furthermore, formulas are becoming increasingly complex, not to say fragile, and the product can only be conceived in its entirety.

By the same logic, the workshop dedicated to Ingredients has proven its efficiency. This year, this workshop will host seven companies: Basf, Codif, Merck, Oleos, Sensient, Sollice et Univar.
