After a 10th edition concluded with historic heights in April 2017, Luxe Pack Shanghai announces the launch of MakeUp in Shanghai in 2018. The make-up B2B event will take place at the same dates and same venue than the luxury packaging trade show.
The 2017 edition of Luxe Pack Shanghai hosted 200 exhibitors from 12 countries, including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, India, UK, France, Germany, U.S.A., Italy, Sweden and Spain. Among them, a third were new exhibitors.
The show welcomed 4,284 visitors from 41 countries, showing a 10% increase over 2016. According to the organisers, 90% of them were top managers (General Management, Marketing, Purchasing, Design or R&D departments).
“Luxe Pack Shanghai is today more than ever the place where selected packaging suppliers showcase their cutting-edge packaging technologies and solutions, where they can network with decision-makers for business opportunities,” said the organisers.
The partnership with the MakeUp in shows follows the acquisition, a few weeks ago, by the InfoPro Digital Group - organizer of the Luxe Pack trade shows across the world –, of the Beauteam Company, creator and organizer of the MakeUp In events.
“Actually our strategy in Asia is quite simple! MakeUp in Asia in Seoul, which was literally acclaimed this year by visitors and exhibitors, proved its efficiency and popularity and will remain in Seoul next end of April 2018. And to meet the needs of many companies wishing to extend the ‘MakeUp In’ concept to China, they will also be delighted with the first edition of a MakeUp in Action in Shanghai alongside Luxe Pack Shanghai, early April,” Nathalie Grosdidier, Luxe Pack General Manager, told Premium Beauty News.
