The Grand Prix du Parfum opens up to the general public

For its 11th edition, the Grand Prix du Parfum changed its formula in order to allow the general public to give its opinion on the finalists. This year, on a total of 11 awards, the Fragrance Foundation France will ask the public to vote for 7 of them through a dedicated website: http://vote.fragrancefoundation.fr/

The 2010 public awards will be:

Best feminine selective fragrance
Best male selective fragrance
Most beautiful bottle (women’s selective fragrance)
Most beautiful bottle (men’s selective fragrance)
Best communication for a fragrance selective
Best perfume released under own brand
and the Favorite of Mary Claire.fr readers: Best women’s fragrance

The “expert jury”, which will include bloggers and bloggers, will award the following:

The ‘Experts’ Award: Best ’exclusive’ creation, awarded by a jury of bloggers and bloggers, journalists, and evaluators (experts of olfaction, working closely with perfumers)
The two prices ‘Perfumers’ Awards: Best Women’s creation and and Best men’s creation, awarded by a panel of perfumers
The Marie Claire Editors’ Favourite, awarded by a jury of journalists from Marie Claire

The awards evening ceremony will be held on Thursday 08 April 2010.
