Setalg to set foot in the retail market

After having imposed itself in beauty salons and spas as one of the leading contract manufacturers of marine derived cosmetic ingredients and products, Setalg has just presented Concept Twin Phase, its new patented product intended for the retail market.

Setalg, the French specialist of cosmetic powders to serve the market of spas and beauty salons is taking an interested in the retail market and is adapting its offer to address the needs of brands in this channel.

The company presented its new patent, Concept Twin Phase, at the last edition of In-Cosmetics, Milan. Quite a novelty for this third party manufacturer who is holding a leading position in the segment of cosmetic products based on marine ingredients meant for professional distribution channels: the new product is targeting this time the retail market!

We usually propose powders for rinse off or peel off skin care products, marine muds, clays, scrubs, which are to be used in an aqueous phase in the beauty salon or the spa. It is important of course to know how to dose the mixture appropriately and actually such manipulations were holding back the development of our offer to individuals”, explained Yves Bleunven, in charge of the French Market for Setalg.

The solution presented by Setalg allows mixing the powder and the aqueous solution in less than 30 seconds without having to worry about proportions. The end user just needs to squeeze the package and then knead the product through its packaging to obtain a ready to use the peel-off mask.

How does it work? The two phases (20 grams of a powder and 40 grams of an aqueous solution) are packaged in a single package, and kept separated by a weld that only gives way when the user presses on both ends. Afterwards the user will just need to knead the package to mix the product thoroughly who will then ready for use!

As usual, Setalg offers brands a customization of its innovation. Textures, active ingredients, colours and perfumes can be adapted to meet the specific needs of each market.
