Les Places d’Or, the tradeshow devoted to high-end packaging makers and designers, was held from November 18 to 21 at the Meurice hotel in Paris, France. The 8th edition was organised under the aegis of Senator Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former French Prime Minister. Françoise Montenay, President of C.E.W. France, Jacques Séguela, Vice–President of Havas, the designer Borek Sipek, and the sculptor Michel Levy and were the honorary guests of the show this year.

Les Places d’Or, which is organised every two years, welcomed 2990 visitors during its previous edition in 2006, including 660 foreign visitors. This year, the show gathered around forty exhibitors, mostly designers and packaging specialists for the industries of luxury beauty products, jewellery, and high-end foods.
