A new factory and an “astonishing” new jar for Technicaps

Three months ago, Technicaps moved to a new manufacturing plant, around 30 kilometres away their previous facilities, and subsequently increased their manufacturing and warehousing areas from 5000 to 12000 sqm. The new factory is located in Challes, in western France, in a building that has been hosting for several years different plastic injection companies supplying the beauty industry.

The French company, which defines itself as “a designer and manufacturer of caps, closures and jars obtained through hot compression moulding” has been able to increase its turnover from EUR 3 to 11 million within a period of less than 20 years, successfully offering both personalised and standard products. “We increased our turnover at rate between 10-12% every year,” Jean-Louis Revel, Technicaps’ CEO explains.

To date, the company’s last strategic action was the launch of a cosmetic jar entirely made of hot compression moulded resin and available in sizes from 5 to 200 millilitres. Weight, soft touching… the qualities of the material have already seduced several product developers in the beauty industry.
