The Qualipac group announced today the acquisition of the Brazilian company Ipel Industria de Pincéis e Embalagens Ltda.
Ipel is the leading supplier of primary packaging for mascaras, gloss and lipsticks in South-America, with around 150 million units sold. The Sao Paulo-based company’s portfolio features prestigious customers in Brazil such as Natura, L’Oréal, O Boticatrio, Avon.
Through this acquisition the Qualipac group is strengthening its products offering as well as its position on the rapidly growing South-American market.
“With an industrial presence on three continents and with an ambitious investments program, the Pochet-Qualipac group, now has the means to achieve its goal to become one of the leading suppliers of the perfumery and cosmetic industry in the world,” the group said in a release.
