David Bondi, CEO of ITEC France

Beyond Beauty Paris will open its doors again this September, 12-15 at the Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles. David Bondi, CEO of ITEC France, the event organiser, says the 2010 edition will remain focused on market trends and alternative brands. “Our visitors know that with these three-shows-in-one [1] they will get an all-round view of the market,” he says.

Well aware of the difficulties the industry had to cope with in 2009, David Bondi declares being ready to address “the budgetary constraints of each one and permit a large number of exhibitors to take part in the next event”.

This year again, the Beauty Challenger Awards competition, which allows a panel of professionals to vote for the best emerging brand, will be the most popular event of the show. Started last year, the vote for the best brand certified natural, the Organic Beauty Award, will be continued this year, along with the newly created Beauty Pharma Award, for the pharmacy retail channel.

Niche, alternative and emerging brands are attracting more and more consumers. Distribution professionals come to find, the rare jewels that will help customize their offers,” says the founder of Beyond Beauty Paris.

Among other innovations, the 2010 edition will inaugurate a platform dedicated to make-up, Beyond Beauty Make Up Trends, as well as a space devoted to Green Ingredients.

The conference program will be oriented towards market trends too, through the active participation of major styling agencies such as Nelly Rodi or Peclers on the theme of luxury and inspirations 2011/2012, and of consulting experts on various aspects of eco-design in cosmetics.
