US-based Berlin Packaging has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire country-fellow All-Pak. Both companies supply plastic, glass, and metal containers and closures to a variety of industries including cosmetics and fragrance, pharmaceutical and nutraceuticals.

Berlin Packaging, founded in 1898, is one of North America’s largest stocking suppliers of packaging. The company supplies billions of containers and closures to small and large customers in the US, having earned a reputation for industry leadership in design, engineering, and sourcing.

All-Pak was formed in 1958 and supplies rigid packaging products and services.

The combined company emerging from this transaction will have annual revenues approaching US$ 500 million and a wider geographic coverage, operating in over 40 sales offices and warehouse locations across the U.S., including Puerto Rico. “We believe the transaction will significantly enhance our ability to realize faster growth, lower system costs, and improved productivity for our partners,” said Andrew T. Berlin, Chairman and CEO of Berlin Packaging.
